William Hsu

William is the founder and managing partner of Mucker Capital, the largest seed fund exclusively focused outside of the Bay Area with offices in LA, Austin, Chicago, Toronto, and NYC. Mucker led the first institutional check into Honey, Auditboard, and ServiceTitan.

William has also spent his career as both an entrepreneur as well as an executive of a Fortune 100 company.  Prior to forming Mucker Capital, William was the SVP and Chief Product Officer of AT&T Interactive where he owned P&L, Product Management, Product Marketing, and UX responsibilities for all digital advertising initiatives for greater AT&T. Previously, as a fresh college graduate, he founded BuildPoint (Acquired by NYSE:ROP) – a SaaS provider of bid management & marketplace services to the commercial construction industry.

In between, he has led product teams at eBay and Green Dot (NYSE:GDOT). William holds a BS in Industrial Engineering from Stanford University and a MBA from the Wharton School of University of Pennsylvania. He is frequent guest lecturer and volunteer at Stanford University. He is a member of Stanford University’s Undergraduate Cabinet, Stanford Southern California Advisor, STVP Advisory Board, and was named Stanford Asian American Alumni of the Year in 2022.
