Tony Ngo

Co-founder & Executive Chairman, Everest Education

Tony is a co-founder and Executive Chairman of Everest Education (E2), a leading after-school education provider in Vietnam. Everest Education offers live small classes online and operates a network of premium learning centers offering a variety of subjects, including math, English Language Arts, college admissions consulting, test prep, and tutoring. Since 2014, he also has been a board member at Nam Long, a publicly-traded real estate developer where he has actively advised on growth strategy and digital transformation. Nam Long has grown its market capitalization from $100 million since 2014 to over $1 billion in 2021, and has ambitious plans to further accelerate growth. Previously, Tony was a co-founder of TOP MOT, an e-commerce startup in Vietnam (2015-2017). Before this, Tony was a public equities and private equity investor for Bridger Capital, a long-short equities hedge fund (2008-2015), investing in companies globally but with a focus on Chinese and Vietnamese markets. Tony held a number of positions as a PE investor at TPG Capital (Summer 2007) and CIVC Partners (2004 – 2006). Tony began his career as an investment banker at Jefferies LLC and Morgan Stanley in Silicon Valley. He also spends significant time with non-profits related to building communities and leadership.  In 2009, Tony founded Sponsors for Educational Opportunity – Vietnam (SEO-Vietnam), a non-profit developing leadership capacity among professionals who will make a difference in Vietnam.  In 2004, he co-founded UNAVSA, the largest non-profit in the Vietnamese American community focusing on youth development.
