Steven Edwards
President, REthink Development; SVP Lifestyle Development, Ensemble
Steve Edwards is principal and president at REthink Development, a boutique real estate development company, and SVP of Lifestyle Development at Ensemble Investments, a full-service development and real estate company. Steve is responsible for leading highly specialized mixed-use real estate development projects that combine creative placemaking techniques with emerging prop-tech solutions in sustainable ways. From a one-of-a-kind boutique hotel that will break all the molds on Abbot Kinney Blvd in Venice to a set of 6 mixed-use projects with 1200+ units and close to 2 million square feet in the Silicon Valley, Steve is figuring out and building what is next for real estate. By finding, integrating, and optimizing a cadre of prop-tech and climate-tech solutions with innovative placemaking and real estate practices, Steve will build communities and places of the future while helping to foster new technologies and protect the environment along the way.
Prior to real estate, Steve was head of product management for a venture-backed Los Angeles digital media start-up and a co-founder of an enterprise software start-up in San Francisco.
Mucker’s entrepreneurs, technologists, and start-ups are welcome to talk to Steve to see how their prop-tech or climate-tech ideas/solutions might be deployed in the built environment. He is also available to talk about general commercial real estate needs for portfolio companies as well.
