Satya is currently a Partner at Homebrew, a Seed stage venture capital firm providing capital and assistance to entrepreneurs who are building the companies that they envision within the Bottom Up Economy. Previously he was the Vice President of Product Management at Twitter. Before joining Twitter, Satya was a Partner at Battery Ventures, where he co-led the firm’s investment activity in the consumer Internet and digital media sectors. Satya currently serves on the Board of Directors for BlueKai, FreeWheel Media, Jelli, LiveIntent, Lotame and KIPP Bay Area Schools. Prior to Battery, Satya was a senior product manager at Google, where he worked on various business development and product management initiatives for AdSense, including Google Ad Manager, beginning in 2003. Before Google, he was senior product manager at DoubleClick, where he led the search marketing platform efforts and also worked on the core DART adserving platform. Earlier in his career, Satya was a venture capitalist with two NY-based venture capital firms and a consultant with Monitor Company. Satya graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a BS in Finance from the Wharton School and a BA in Psychology from the College of Arts & Sciences.
