Maryam Mahdaviani
VP, Product - Head of Product, Honey
Maryam Mahdaviani is an entrepreneur, technologist and strategist. She is currently advising tech start-up and growth stage companies as well as institutional investors, primarily focused on FinTech, eCommerce and HealthTech. She most recently was the head of Product at Honey (acquired by PayPal) where she led the company’s product and design teams.
Maryam has been identifying problems and building technology solutions for a variety of industries in the past 15 years. She had founded and grown her own B2B and B2C technology start-ups. Moreover, as a product leader and executive, Maryam has led or partnered with teams at companies such as Apple, Uber, Intuit, Best Buy and Green Dot. She is a sought-after advisor and executive due to her deep domain expertise as well as her numerous successful (and at times unsuccessful) experiences in taking products from inception to scale and building businesses.
Maryam holds a BSc and MSc in Computer Science and Machine learning from the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada. Earlier in her career, she worked as a software developer and Machine Learning researcher.
