Chief Technology Officer, Ring

Josh is currently the Chief Technology Officer at Ring. He was formerly CTO of Bot Home Automation. Previously, Josh was the Co-Founder and COO/CTO of Unsubscribe, Inc. Before starting Unsubscribe Josh held the position of Senior Vice President, Technology of Blackboard Connect, a subsidiary of Blackboard, Inc. (NASDAQ: BBBB) after Blackboard’s acquisition of The NTI Group, Inc. where Josh was the Chief Technology Officer. His technical leadership and vision was key to the overall success in creating and helping establish the Connect-ED and Connect- CTY products as the industry standard and leaders in the Emergency Communications space. Prior to joining NTI, Josh was Senior Vice President and CTO at Viva Group, Inc. (dba Rent.com and acquired by eBay). In his role at Viva, he led the growth and development of the company’s technical infrastructure and product design. Before Viva, Josh was Vice President of Technology at Media Revolution overseeing projects for Mirage Resorts, KIA Motors, and Sony Pictures, and was the Director of Technical Design for US Interactive (formerly NASDAQ: USIT) where he managed the implementations for clients including Microsoft, Disney, Toyota, Dairy Farm, and AT&T. Josh is married with three beautiful children and holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of California at Los Angeles.
