John Gentry

John is currently the President of OpenX. Previously, he served as Chief Revenue Officer and President of Spot Runner Inc. Mr. Gentry oversaw all sales and business development activities, strategic partnerships, media, distribution relationships and customer care of Spot Runner. Prior to Spot Runner, he served as Chief Revenue Officer and Head of Corporate Development of Green Dot Corporation , where he was responsible for all sales and business development activities, including expansion of the existing retail distribution network, launching new channels of card distribution such as online and payment solutions, and expansion of the Green Dot Financial Network. Prior to joining Green Dot, he served as Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Affiliate Business Group of Overture Services and led the team. Prior to Overture, he served as an Executive of Walt Disney Company, where he developed distribution and sales strategy for Disney/ABC Cable Networks. He also held positions with Discovery Communications, parent company of Discovery Channel and CB Commercial Real Estate. He serves as a Member of Advisory Board of Authenticlick, Inc. He holds a B.A. in Political Science from the University of California Los Angeles and an M.B.A. from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Business at Northwestern University.
