Jody Mulkey is the Chief Technology Officer at Ticketmaster. An accomplished technologist and inspirational engineering leader, Jody is known for building high performance systems and teams. The excitement and excellence that permeate Jody’s teams are fueled by his passionate leadership and his ability to connect them to the mission. Prior to Ticketmaster, Jody spent over 14 years at Shopzilla Inc, a leading source for connecting buyers and sellers online that reaches a global audience of over 40 million shoppers monthly. As Chief Information Officer of Shopzilla, Jody led the overall the technology development and operations of the company. Part of the inaugural team at Shopzilla, then Bizrate and in the formative years, Jody built the company’s data systems, analytics, infrastructure and team from the ground up. Prior to Shopzilla, Jody spent several years at William O’Neil & Co, an institutional investment company where he cut his teeth in the fast paced, high volume, zero-fail environment of finance. Jody was an integral part of bringing the flagship WONDA product to the Internet. Born in the great state of Texas, Jody attended military school and got his degree in shenanigans before moving to California. Jody studied Business Administration at the University of Southern California with dual emphases in Entrepreneurship and Information Systems.
