He has led growth and commercialization for companies ranging from venture-backed startups to global enterprises, including CoolerX, Coinstar, and Taco Bell. Garrett has successfully built and scaled cross-functional teams, deployed high-impact technology products in 25,000+ retail locations, and driven go-to-market strategies that enabled new revenue streams and national expansion.
As a co-founder of Alula, a portfolio company of Redbox, Garrett brought a fintech concept from whiteboard to 1,000+ retail locations and $300M in processed transactions, ultimately resulting in acquisition by Blackhawk Network. At CoolerX, he oversaw deployment of a national retail media and digital merchandising platform seen by 120M shoppers per month in leading U.S. grocery, convenience, and drugstore chains. Today, Garrett serves as a Board Advisor to early-stage startups like Attribute Analytics and mentors founders through the Techstars Emory Founder Catalyst Program, where he coaches on commercialization, product strategy, and operational scaling.
He is passionate about helping entrepreneurs navigate complex growth phases, align execution with strategy, and bring innovative ideas to life. Garrett holds an MBA from USC Marshall and a BBA from Emory University.
