Eric Kirby

Group Vice President, Oracle Data Cloud, Oracle

Eric Kirby is the Group Vice President of the Oracle Data Cloud team at Oracle. He was most recently the Chief Operating Officer for Datalogix. Previously, he was the CEO and Founder of Connection Engine, a venture-backed company developing new customer intelligence and targeting solutions. Previously, Kirby was SVP & GM of Interactive Solutions at Merkle, one of the nation’s largest and fastest growing customer relationship marketing agencies, where he was responsible for developing digital media offerings including email, mobile, display, and social marketing solutions. Prior to Merkle, Kirby held the position of SVP & GM of DoubleClick’s Email Solutions division, the world’s largest email service provider at the time. Kirby has also co-founded two previous online marketing technology firm – Veripost and Assurance Systems – both of which were acquired by Return Path. Earlier, Kirby served as Vice President of Interactive Services at Brierley+Partners, a customer relationship marketing agency. He holds a BS from Northwestern University and an MBA from Harvard University.
