Dave Neupert was the founder and acting CEO of M80 Interactive Marketing, an online grassroots marketing firm which has managed publicity campaigns for companies like Warner Music Group, The Gap, Tommy Hilfiger, Honda and Fox Home Entertainment. Neupert began his career in the music business at Maverick. He worked on some of the first websites for artists like Deftones and Alanis Morissette. Dave began to build a buzz about these artists from fan to fan over the internet and utilized the internet long before it became a common promotional tool. M80 specializes in developing online publicity, promotions, and grassroots marketing campaigns for top entertainment properties and consumer brands. M80 identifies, empowers, and activates word-of-mouth marketing among online influencers and opinion leaders. Dave oversees the company’s financial operations and provides the vision for the strategic direction of the company. M80 has developed and implemented marketing campaigns for more than 150 top entertainment and consumer brands, including Warner Music Group, Universal Music Group, Comedy Central, BBC America, The Gap, Tommy Hilfiger, Honda, Napa Auto Parts, Cingular Wireless, Fox Broadcasting, and Fox Home Entertainment.
