Bobby Lo

Snap, Inc.

Bobby Lo is a startup founder, investor, and advisor. His most recent startup, Vurb, introduced a new paradigm for mobile search and messaging and was acquired in 2016 by Snap Inc., the parent company of Snapchat. As the company’s sole founder and CEO, Bobby led Vurb to win Startup Battlefield at TechCrunch Disrupt NY 2014 and raised over $10M in funding. Prior to BCG, Bobby was involved in two other startup ventures: starting his first software company at 15, and then as Co-Founder and CTO of Yodle (acquired by Web.com), a search advertising company.     Bobby holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees from MIT in Computer Science, and a bachelor’s degree in Management from MIT Sloan.
