Bobby Benfield is a results-oriented executive with extensive experience in building technology-driven digital businesses and consumer brands.
As an advisor to OpenComp since its founding and its CEO since August 2023, Bobby has played a pivotal role in OpenComp’s growth.
Previously, Bobby held senior executive roles at BeautyCounter and Shopzilla, each of which had successful exits.
He was also an early advisor and investor in Honey Science, which sold to Paypal in 2020.
Before his digital career, Bobby practiced corporate law at O’Melveny & Meyers LLP, specializing in corporate finance and M&A.
He holds a B.A. in Political Science from the University of California, San Diego, and a J.D. from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles.
Outside the office, Bobby enjoys family time, swimming, yoga, travel, hiking, practicing art, and reading.
