As a rheumatologist and epidemiologist. I have spent most of my career as a physician scientist aiming to improve long term outcomes among patients with inflammatory arthritis (i.e. rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, axial spondyloarthritis). I also have spent approximately 20% of my time caring for patients with inflammatory arthritis and the remainder of my time on research and Directing a research center, Center for Clinical Epidemiology and Biostatistics (CCEB) where I oversee core services, a Master's program, and cross-disciplinary research programs applying data science to solve clinical problems. I also consult for pharmaceutical companies on the design and interpretation of clinical trials and observational studies, I am a co-founder of a non-profit, the Psoriasis and Psoriatic Arthritis Multicenter Advancement Network, which aims to optimize the care of patients with psoriatic disease through increasing collaborations across specialties, and founder of Research Pathfinder, a research services marketplace. I live in Wilmington, DE and have two daughters.
